About Our Team

Mary has lived in Raleigh since 1981 and lived downtown since 1991. She attended NCState and has degrees in Forestry (useful in the Sahel during a three year stint in the Peace Corps) and Economics (now I understand the power of numbers!). Before coming to real estate she worked in international development where she was able to travel all over the world and then was a stay at home parent-volunteer while holding some very interesting part-time jobs! She has watched Raleigh develop into one of the consistently rated Best Places to Live/Work/Enjoy cities and really believes it deserves the accolades.
She has done Triathlons and Road Races (just finished the Krispy Kreme Challenge (carrying what she didn’t eat!)), tries to keep the garden up despite several dogs in the backyard, and hopes to do a music festival tour with her now grown daughter in the summer of 2012 (will be looking for a used very small RV)!
Mary loves working with people and learning what they want in a home or helping them out with their existing real estate issues: how much to renovate, finding a great contractor, keeping aware of downtown goings-ons, and so much more. She is comfortable with working with people from all around the world who want to make Raleigh, and the environs, home.
One of her goals in real estate is to help find others the perfect place to live in one of the Best Places to live; and for those who have to leave the area, well, she will find someone who will fit perfectly into your home.
